Senior Adult Volunteer Needs
Senior Adult fellowship Leader
Coordinate with Member Care Pastor, for cleanup, serving seniors, maybe some setup.
Senior Adult Shut-in Leader
Coordinate with Member Care Pastor on needs of shut –ins like taking them to doctor appointments, taking for grocery’s, fixing small things, rides to and from church, and just be some TLC ( tender, loving, care) person. ( male or female )
Student Ministry Volunteer Needs
Tech Team Leader
Coordinate, train and lead students and other volunteers on running our audio, video and lighting needs on Wednesday nights. If you are willing but don't feel capable then we can train you on all the systems and then let you train others. Experience preferred but not necessary.
Environment Creator
Work with Student Pastor and leadership team on creating fun, creative and compelling environments for each sermon series for Wednesday nights. Will have some student and adult volunteers on a team to help carry out your ideas.
Assistant LifeGroup leaders (especially male)
Assist lifeGroup leaders in 20-30 minute lifeGroup sessions on Wednesday nights with youth. Our lifeGroups are discussion times based off of the teaching by the student pastor to help further explore the message for the week. Need to like hanging out with students and investing in their lives.
Snack Bar Manager
In the new youth room we have a snack bar. You will manage distributing snacks, video games, ping pong paddles, etc. as well as help keep it organized and stocked. You will work with the student pastor on coordinating and training other volunteers to help assist with this. This is done primarily on Wednesday nights from 5:00-6:15.
Mentors/Tutoring
We are looking for adults that would like to invest into the lives of students in our youth ministry. We have two avenues here for you to plug in. One is to be a mentor. As a mentor you will be assigned 1-3 students who you will pray for daily, contact weekly, and spend time with quarterly. We are also looking for qualified tutors to help any of our students in academic areas where they may be struggling.
Children's Ministry Needs
Fall Volunteer Needs
Jump Start Life Group Leader / Assistant – 16 Needed
To lead one and assist in another Jump Start Life Groups during service time on Sunday morning. This is an once a month commitment for the Fall and Spring that will require about 1 hour of prep time during scheduled weeks.
Check-In Assistant & Greeter – 2 Needed
To welcome parents to the preschool, assist with check-in procedures, and lead in new family registration. This is a once a month commitment from 9:00 to 12:15 for the fall semester with no prep time.
3 Year Old Teacher or Assistant – 6 Needed
To lead a small group of children in craft activities and games that reinforces the weekly Bible teaching during service time on Sunday mornings. This is a once a month commitment for the fall and spring semester that will require approximately one hour of prep time during scheduled weeks.
Weekly Setup Assistant – 1 Needed
To assist the Children's pastor with curriculum and supply setup for weekly preschool programs. This is an once a week commitment for approximately 1-2 hours times are flexible.
Wednesday Night Class Assistant – 5 Needed
To assist the Jump Start team in leading Bible studies and caring children during our Wednesday night programming. This is a once a week commitment from 6pm to 7:30 on Wednesday nights.
