Michael is a high energy, creative, fun-loving, Jesus loving, people loving pastor who will make you feel right at home. We know that is a mouthful, but Michael truly delivers. He'll love you like family from your very first visit to Calvary.
He preaches real life and real biblical truth from his heart in a way that everyone can understand. The best thing about Michael is that he is without a doubt an incredible communicator that will take you where you are and help you connect more deeply to Christ. With all of the craziness in this world, it is awesome to have a pastor with this type of care and teaching. He couldn't accomplish anything if it wasn't for his wife Melissa to keep his feet on the ground. She is the prayer warrior and rock of their family.

Corey Olivier
With Pastor Michael's leadership and vision Corey is the man that puts it into action. Corey helps everyone on staff do their what they do to their fullest potential. His passion is to help Calvary do the best that they can with discipleship and LifeGroups so that the Calvary life is more than just Sunday morning for you. Corey brings a needed level of organization, support and encouragement to this crazy staff. Corey also brings his beautiful and talented wife, Lessie Sasser Olivier, to the family as well as their three children, Alexis, Gabriel, and Alanna. As well as serving the Calvary family, he is the Metro Director for the Baptist Collegiate Ministry of the greater New
Orleans area.

Mark Barentine
Much like Barnabas, Mark is the kind of guy that you need on your team but doesn't get much glory. As the Minister of Administration, Mark keeps everything running in the direction it should. With a great servant's heart, Mark will do whatever is necessary to make sure that God gets glory from all aspects of our ministries. From hospital visits to teaching and discipleship, Mark is always there as a tangible representation of God's grace and mercy. There are few men out that serve with the passion and humility of Mark Barentine, and it
is a blessing to have him on our team. All that and we can still honestly say that his beautiful wife Julie is his better half. Not to mention their kids Britney and Josh who serve in multiple ways at Calvary.

JimBo Stewart
JimBo is an all around incredible guy! He is a creative genius when it comes to helping the church innovate ways to reach the modern day student. He is also driven by a deep passion for young people to become genuine followers of Christ! He is way beyond the stereotypical youth pastor in his desire to serve CBC and help students fall in love with their church, and yet he is the one guy I know who can build a burrito gun out of duct tape and pvc pipe. JimBo and his wife Audrea bring their dramatic background to bear each week at Calvary by helping the services and ministries function with clarity and purpose. However, in spite of his great abilities as a producer, he has yet to master being able to turn Pastor Michael off after 45 minutes. Keep praying!

Rosette Botros
Rosette does an incredible job serving Calvary as the administrative assistant. She is the real brains behind the operation by keeping all the pastors on task each day. She works with the entire staff to facilitate every ministry event at Calvary, and she makes sure things are done to Pastor Michael’s standard…whew what a job! Pastor Michael has nicknamed her the staff bulldog because he knows she will get the job done for the church and get it done right. Don’t mess with Rosette! Currently, Rosette is working to teach the staff Arabic so that they will all be able to join her on her next trip home to Egypt. She and her husband Peter are awesome servants at CBC!

Tammy McIlwain
The Money Lady? That’s who you want to talk to! Tammy’s organizational skills and financing abilities keep Calvary in shape. Her support of all the ministries at Calvary are definitely what make CBC successful, not to mention all the hard behind the scene work she, her husband Allen and beautiful little girl Emily do. Even though she works with a bunch of off the wall people, Tammy still manages to smile! Without her Calvary would definitely not be the same!
